About the Game

They Took the Sun is a single player flying game in which the player chases and takes down giant bosses. In order to stop the bosses, the player will have to learn how to navigate around them and find their weak points. Each encounter is unique, with each their own mechanics. You can think of They Took the Sun as a mix between 90s arcade flight games and Team Ico’s Shadow of the Colossus. Seoul based artist Gabe Miller is mostly known for his work on games like Strike Vector, Remilore, Assoluto Racing and the bloodthirsty helicopter aztec goddess simulator Megacopter. Gabe and Julien started exchanging ideas in 2017 and have been working exclusively remotely across two continents ever since.
